Our take: Therefore I Am is one of many cookie-cutter bands creating very similar sounding anguish-filled metal with a male emo vocalist. Predictable verse-chorus-verse, churning distorted minor chord guitars and the occasional scream.
The band is pretty good musically. Music is heavy but not overly so, but not distinctive from the pack in any way we can see.
The main vibe is amped up angst. Not enjoyable to listen to - to us anyway! Guessing high school sophomores are fans?
